  • Who is the Timot service for?

    For everyone who is helpful!
    Whether you’re a driver, motorcyclist, or just an attentive pedestrian, Timot helps build a better, more supportive community — together with you.

  • Can the owner of the license plate see who sent the alert?

    By default, no.
    Feedback remains anonymous unless you choose to share your information. The goal is for help to be quick and discreet.

  • Do I need to register to use it?

    Sending alerts and feedback is not mandatory, but it is highly recommended! If you don’t meet certain criteria, the owner might not receive your message.
    However, registration is required to add your license plate and receive feedback.

  • How much does Timot cost?

    Nothing at all!
    Timot is completely free to use. Helping costs nothing. However, we do have expenses, which we currently cover through advertisements.

  • How can I add a license plate?

    After logging in, go to the “Vehicles” menu and select “Add vehicle”. Just a few clicks and you’ll be ready to receive feedback.

  • How important is it to rate the alert I received?

    The system tries to filter false alerts, but your feedback is also important to improve accuracy. It helps filter out misuse and supports us in improving the service.

  • How long do I have to rate an alert?

    You can rate alerts within 72 hours. After that, we can no longer accept your rating.

  • How many alerts can I send per day?

    As a registered member, you can send up to 100 alerts per day, but only 3 per license plate.
    Without registration, you can send up to 10 alerts per day, but only 1 per license plate.
    Always make sure your messages are genuine and sent with good intent!

  • How many feedback ratings can I send per day?

    The same limits apply to feedback ratings as to alerts.

  • How can I delete my registration?

    Log in and go to the “My Profile” menu, then select “Delete my profile”. If that’s not possible, send an email from your registered address to hello [at] timot [dot] app, or let us know through the contact form.
